About an hour ago I watched part of this exact video with my husband and I said, “whenever I listen to him (Ron Paul) speak, it is like a breath of fresh air”. Then I saw the title of this post and had to laugh. Apparently I’m not the only one who feels this way!

It is conveniently ignored that the only authentic way to best support the troops is to keep them out of dangerous, undeclared, no-win wars that are politically inspired. Sending troops off to war for reasons that are not truly related to national security — and for that matter may even damage our security — is hardly a way to “patriotically” support the troops.
My husband is expecting a possible deployment to Iraq next year and we both loved this quote! If anyone out there sincerely want to support the troops, please consider voting for Ron Paul!
