Blogging != Dating

Posted by on July 14th, 2006

My friend Dan (his wife agrees) says I blog too much. He most recently has said:

man… all this blogging puts “it is not good for man to be alone” into perspective (see Genesis 2:18)

The claim is that I spend too much of my free time blogging, and not enough looking for my “help meet”. I don’t think that their argument is that unfounded… :)

Not that unfounded? More like it is absolutely right!

Nah, don’t listen to the forces of darkness Connor. I see blogging as your means to finding an eternal companion who shares your sentiments!

Given your scholarly, well researched and insightful blogging Connor, I would find it a shame to think that you would slow down. Of course though, you’ll find your sweetheart and she’ll love you for your blog, your ability to comment on current issues intelligently, excercising your influence in effort to maintain the freedom of your nation, which Ezra Taft Benson asked the Single young adult men to be active in doing in addition to seeking their chosen spouse.

I’ll hook you up with my sister-in-law. She won’t have a problem with the fact that your not a socialist! :)

lol! they should have a relevancy-based algorithm that takes single people’s blogs & hooks them up based on keywords & content. ;)

not enough looking for my “help meet”.

Last I checked Adam did not do much ‘looking’ for his. Plus Isaiah said ‘woe unto those who are with child.’ You would hate to be woed eh? Afterall, just follow Christ’s example.
