I just received the following images in an email from my mother, who just got back from a trip to Zambia and Zimbabwe with Mothers Without Borders. We are truly blessed to live in a word of opulence. Let’s all focus on giving a bit more to those who are in need.

#2 Dustin Davis | October 5th, 2006 3:16 PMI served a mission in South Africa. I saw a lot of similar poverty firsthand. But you know what? These were the happiest people I’ve been surrounded by in my life!
Yes, let’s adopt an attitude of grattitude!
Indeed, they are happy, for they have been forced to realize that hapiness is not found in the possession of worldy goods. It’s devasting to realize that 1/3 of these people have AIDS and will soon die. My mom told me some pretty crazy stories yesterday when she returned from her trip.
Mothers Without Borders is always looking for donors, and has many ongoing projects in these countries. For example, 50 bucks a month will rent a house to give shelter to 15 orphans who otherwise would be on the street.
If anybody is looking to donate and support, please contact me and I can get you some detailed information on what you can do to help our brothers and sisters.
#4 steven | October 5th, 2006 3:48 PMConnor, your mother is doing some very fine work. Im sure she is an amazing person. This appears to be a fabulous organization. I know you too have done your part to help with the cause. I would like to make a contribution to this very worthy effort. Please give your mother a “Thank You” from me. This world needs more like her.
#5 Wade | October 5th, 2006 5:44 PMIf I wasn’t in the library sitting next to people studying, I would be crying right now. Thanks Connor!
