Unity ‘08 and the Human Party

I’ve already mentioned in a previous post the dangers and destructiveness of partisan politics. I came across this video from the Glenn Beck show that tickled me pink:

I got a kick out of his five-step “Human Party” platform:

  1. Do the right thing.
  2. Look at issues through the eyes of your children.
  3. Your country is just as important as your (”frickin”) district.
  4. We won’t always agree.
  5. Death penalty for any politician who commissions a focus group.

So where do I sign up? I’d vote for any politician, in any party, who proved to abide by these criterion.

The Unity ‘08 campaign discussed can be found at unity08.com. It’s a very interesting idea…
